We came to Seattle for a Candlelight Concert at the library and decided to stop by Haidilao — what a treat! The kids absolutely loved the cat robot delivering food. It made the whole experience so fun and memorable for them. We ordered the double-sided pot with tomato soup and spicy broth, which was the perfect combination for our family. The tomato base was rich and comforting, while the spicy soup had just the right kick. The vegetables were fresh, and the beautifully sliced beef was a hit with everyone. We also appreciated the seasonal fruit buffet at the end — such a refreshing touch. Most of all, the waitstaff Tony was incredibly courteous and attentive. The service truly stood out. We’ll definitely be coming back, hopefully with a bigger group next time!

Hai Di Lao lives up to the hype in terms of its excellence and the robot delivery is a fun touch. The food itself was good, though I found the broth a bit lacking in flavor compared to what I was hoping for. One thing to note: Please be mindful of cross-contamination with the raw ingredients, as I wasn’t careful and ended up with food poisoning. They do give out complimentary candies at the end, which was a sweet finish. Overall a decent experience, but I personally prefer Qiao Lin for hot pot.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

They truly make the dining experience enjoyable and comfortable. Environment: The restaurant is clean, modern, and well-organized, but not all seating spots are available even when they appear unoccupied or unbooked, which can be a bit confusing during busy hours. Still, the overall ambiance is pleasant and lively.

They were attentive without ever being intrusive, constantly checking in, helping with the hot pot setup, and making sure everything was perfect. You can really tell they care about creating a great experience, not just serving a meal. They anticipated what we needed before we even asked, kept our broth and ingredients flowing, and made the whole dinner feel special and fun. Haidilao is already known for great service, but Tony, Dolo, and Luis genuinely went above and beyond. We left feeling so well taken care of and already excited to come back.
